The Vetrax® Sensor is guaranteed to operate at a minimum internal temperature of 32ºF, and a maximum internal temperature of 158ºF. As the hardware components are somewhat insulated from outside temperatures by the plastic shell, as well as your pet's body heat, this range will not be exceeded except in rare circumstances. A long day of playing outside in sub-freezing temperatures, however, should be avoided when using the Vetrax® Sensor.

Please note that the Vetrax® Sensor is powered by a Lithium-Ion battery, which is subject to a separate temperature range for safe charging and discharging. Please see the chart below for further information.
