Step 1: Make sure you have your pet's sensor nearby and that it is not attached to your pet's collar. Also verify the device is awake by giving it a moderate shake; the sensor's LED will be flashing will be flashing green once every 15 seconds if in awake mode.
Step 2: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone, tablet, or mobile device.
Step 3: Open the Vetrax® App and select the silhouette button on the bottom right of your screen. This will open the "More" tab.
Step 4: Select "Devices".
Step 5: Select the device number next to your dog's avatar.
Step 6: The Vetrax® App will attempt to connect to the sensor. You will receive a "Sensor Connected" message when the connection occurs.
If the message reads "Could not connect to sensor. Make sure sensor is nearby", select "Devices" from the top left corner of your screen and repeat steps 1 and 2. Then, repeat steps 5 and 6.
Step 7: When you receive the "Sensor Connected" message, select "Sync Now".
A failed connection will be indicated by the sensor LED flashing blue three to five times, followed by three red pulses. If this occurs, repeat steps 5 through 10. A successful connection will be indicated by the sensor LED flashing blue three to five times, followed by a solid-blue light indicating the sensor is uploading its data. When the upload is complete, the sensor LED will return to flashing green once every 15 seconds.
